Summer Love at Four Star Farms and Brewery in Western Mass

The funny thing is, is that we seriously thought it wouldn’t rain on their wedding day.

After a very rainy Prospect Park engagement session back in Brooklyn a few weeks before their wedding, we really thought we had paid our dues to the rain gods.

That, sadly, was not the case. But in my book - that is totally okay. I love rain. It adds texture, mood, and vibrance to any day - and this one was no different. The colors of Eliza’s florals and her family and friend’s attire was popping, the rain made us have to think on our feet and choose backdrops for family photos we wouldn’t normally choose but I kind of love it!

Honestly, you can do anything at Four Star Farms and it would look beautiful, adventurous, and laid back all in the same moment.

This was our first time back at the hops farm during the early summer and I was so excited to see how far the hops would be growing. It’s a bit magical in their hops field, and although you can’t go into it, just being on the edge is enough to feel nestled in greenery.

Crafting Quality

Four Star Farms is perhaps best known for their high-quality hops, which are used by craft breweries across New England and beyond.
