Botanical Love at Elm Bank: A Dreamy Garden Wedding

Let me take you on a stroll through a day filled with love, laughter, and a sprinkle of magic at the Garden at Elm Bank. As a wedding photographer, I've seen my fair share of beautiful moments, but this one? Well, let's just say it's etched in my heart forever.

We started at Margaret and Ben’s hotel where we got to capture these stunning details with touches of lowers from Berry Branch (yay, local venues!). What a stunning setup for a flat lay. We bring multiple styling mats, ribbon, and props to use, but always request multiple copies of invitations and loose florals for this part.

After the hotel we headed to the gorgeous Elm Bank. Picture this: The sun behind a cast of clouds set a dreamy tone through the gardens as our couple shares a sweet first look. Surrounded by flowers in full bloom, they couldn't help but steal a few more kisses and giggles before the festivities began.

With the gang all here, we snapped some pics of their wedding party that are pure gold. Laughter echoing through the air, hugs, and high-fives—it was all love, all day.

The Garden at Elm Bank ceremony spaces are all beautiful, but I love when couples opt to get married by the fountain. It’s such a magical space with so much possibility!

A little rain made a surprise appearance. Just when we thought we might need an umbrella for the ceremony, it left as quickly as it came, leaving behind nothing but clear skies and good vibes for Margaret and Ben’s beautiful Jewish ceremony. One thing we loved about this wedding ceremony was that they both opted to smash the glass before being pronounced! It’s totally our style to take tradition into our own hands and make it something that works for the here and now!

After the "I dos," it was time for some just married photos, and let me tell you, these two were absolute naturals and in their own little love bubble. I love these photos because of that - it’s such a special moment filled with so much incredible energy. We went through their gardens to all of the spots we didn’t hit during their first look, and I just love how we caught the greenhouse right when the bistro lights were coming on!

With cocktail hour in full swing and games on the lawn, the vibe was laid-back and oh-so-romantic. These are always some of my favorite pictures - you have to get the full perspective as well as a few close ups of everyone interacting (the best part in my opinion!).

As the sun dipped below the horizon, everyone headed to the carriage house for the reception. And can we talk about those florals? Stunning doesn't even begin to cover it. With twinkling lights overhead and love in the air, it was a night to remember.
