On a cloudy day the quaint, rocky coastline in York, Maine looks ephemeral. Although it seems we always have cloudy days when we get together, I knew this canvas would be perfect for Rossi + D. The clouds paint a soft, romantic canvas in the sky.

There’s not much that we love as much as a queer love story, tbh. When I met with Rossi and D on their consultation call I knew they were the ones for me. I’m so thankful to Madden Made for introducing us, and to the couple for choosing me as their wedding photographer.

Even though it was a rainy day and we had to pivot to Plan B for the ceremony, the weather held out for a fun, joy-filled first look on the cliffs that overlook the ocean, followed by an intimate ceremony in a clear tent.

This first look though! The beach and view from the paths around Stage Neck Inn are so beautiful, regardless of what the weather has to say.

As the rain began to descend, we headed back inside Stage Neck Inn for a private vow reading that gave us all the feels. From giggles to tears to heartfelt hugs and surprised Wedding VIPS, it was such a breathtaking moment to witness.

Just like that, as the ceremony came to a joyous conclusion, the weather cleared enough for us to finish group photos outside on the lawn, and do a few more couples photos in our favorite spots around the property.

What a view! The Stage Neck Inn’s ballroom is full of floor-to-ceiling windows that have panoramic views of the Maine coastline. It’s truly a special place. The couple’s details were elegant, timeless, and just the right amount of nautical. Creams with notes of blue and green complemented the setting perfectly. As dinner started we ran off to the beach to have a barefoot romp on the coast.

And then it was party time! I was so excited for this epic floral wall and neon signage to be used as a little photo booth for us throughout the night - it was RIGHT on the dance floor near our lights! Once guests were invited to the dance floor it was on! We had so much fun capturing this one, pride flags, surprise drag performances, epic night shots, and all!
