Ethan and Danielle's House of Seven Gables Elopement

These two sweethearts came up to windy old Salem from Mississippi for a short weekend trip in the early Spring. At first, they planned to go to a concert in Boston and stay in a city they were both eager to explore.

But then they thought… why not elope? 🤭 And I couldn’t agree more!

Ethan and Danielle knew they wanted to get married at the House of Seven Gables and from there they found their way to me! They held their intimate ceremony outdoors in the courtyard. It was a bright day that quickly turned cloudy right in the middle of it, but it was perfect. They had gathered a rock the night before and made it a part of their vows. It was such a lovely experience to witness alongside their officiant Priscilla.

I had suggested some potential routing around Salem after taking time to get to know them and Winter Island Park seemed like the perfect fit!

We had so much fun going from the rocky shores of windy paths Winter Island Park to downtown Salem via the Hawthorne Hotel and Essex St. We made sure to stop at the Witch House and the Old Town Hall - two of my favorite spots.
