Sophia + Manar's Prospect Hill Elopement

Sophia and Manar had the right idea for their elopement.

The day started at the Four Seasons Hotel, where the couple and their pup embraced the excitement of the day as they got ready together. Laughter and music echoed through the hotel room as they spilled out good vibes of love and anticipation.

In the heart of Somerville lies a hidden gem, and it’s where Sophia and Manar chose to tie the knot!

Prospect Hill Park boasts a rich history dating back to the colonial era. The hill was a pivotal site during the American Revolutionary War, serving as the location for both encampments and strategic fortifications.

Over the years, Prospect Hill Park has evolved into a beloved recreational area, offering a mix of natural beauty, historical resonance, and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the Boston skyline. Today, it remains a cherished destination for locals like me and visitors alike, providing a tranquil escape and a tangible connection to the area's storied past.

And it was the perfect place for a beautiful mid-day elopement.

With the sun high in the sky the scene shifted as we climbed the steps toward Prospect Park’s Tower. The ceremony unfolded with only their nearest and dearest by their sides, the couple exchanged vows against the backdrop of the city skyline and the immensity of the Tower’s castle-like appearance. The park's natural beauty created an atmosphere that was both serene and adventurous, setting the stage for a union that felt like a beautiful escape.

In between tears and laughter, the newlyweds sealed their commitment and the air filled with iridescent bubbles as the couple and guests descended the stairs back down to the park for more photos. We love a bubble gun exit moment, whenever and wherever!
