Wedding: A Lyman Estate Wedding in Waltham, MA

Dan + Jill met through a mutual friend, a roommate of Jill’s at the time. They had seen each other before at shows on Rugg Road (heck yea!). They chatted for a bit on facebook until one day Dan showed up on her front steps. She didn’t really know him, so they had their first date right there on the front porch. It went so well she ended up inviting him inside and cooking him dinner.

Engaged for two years now, they were so excited to just do the thing and get married. It was a beautiful, clear, early winter day in New England. A little crisp, but sunny with long stretches of whispy clouds in the sky. Just look at that gorgous view, Waltham! What a beautiful place to say I Do!

J + D’s wedding plans changed a lot this year, but their plans were always loose so it was eas(ier) to go with the flow. They always knew they wanted to hold it at a historic site. When they found the Lyman Estate and saw their intimate wedding options, they knew they had found their spot. The pair planned an intimate elopement with just a few guests, and the sweetest officiant we ever did meet.

They held their ceremony indoors (early winter is still pretty cold here in New England) and then we ventured outside for family and couple photos around the Lyman Estate property and in the beautiful greenhouse across the lawn.

The sky in Waltham that day provided the prettiest golden sunset light at the end of our session, we were so excited to catch it twinkling through the trees as we wrapped up.
