Golden Hour Romance: A Lake Sunapee Engagement Session

Talk about picturesque!

Liana and Jake took me to their little lakeside summer community in Sunapee, New Hampshire for their engagement session. It was a warm summer day, and the drive from Boston was easy and joyful. I had been on the other side of this lake before by The Fells, a wedding venue not far from where I was headed.

Upon arriving, I was delighted to see what an elevated, campground feel their place has - the little docks, the winding trails through tall green trees, the boats floating in the water, the sandy beaches - all silhouetted in the glow of the setting sun.

We wandered along the docks, looked out at the water, made our way from sandy shores to more rocky areas, and even played in the water a little bit! My favorite part of the session, besides when they got in the water, or when Jake spun Liana up on the balcony of the boathouse, was when they popped the bottle of champagne - the way the light hit the little droplets of liquid as they sprayed in the air was epic!

I’m truly so lucky that my clients share their special places with me, and love with the photos Liana, Jake and I created together. I can’t wait to celebrate with them at the Stevens Estate for their wedding! Congrats L+J.
