Wedding: J+E's Intimate Winter Wedding | Marriott Long Wharf

December weddings are the type I tend to dream about - snow white, soft furs, sparkling lights, stark, beautiful backdrops, softly falling snowflakes. It really is the most wonderful time of the year - whether you celebrate Christmas or not. We don’t have the chance to shoot these types of weddings nearly as often as we’d like, so when J+E contacted us about their big day, we leapt for joy and practically shouted YES!

Although we didn’t get any snowfall, J & E’s an intimate elopement-turned-small-wedding at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf hotel couldn’t have been more sparkly or warm (and that’s not on account of the unseasonable 60-degree whether we were having in mid-December Boston!). Even at intimate affairs, attention to detail can make all the difference. J+E pulled out all the stops for their big day. Wintry branches laden with white christmas lights surrounded them as they said their vows while the bride and her daughter donned matching matching snowflake headbands.

Celebrating winter, Christmas, and all things family these two tied the knot in the cutest way possible - with bride’s daughter by their side the whole time! And that’s not all - during the reception when it came time for the father-daughter dance, E danced with his new step daughter promising to always love and be there for her. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house, myself included.
