A Picture-Perfect Day at Boston College's Connor's Center
Nestled within the lush greenery of Boston College's campus, this place exudes charm and elegance. Originally built as a private estate in the early 20th century, Connor's Center has witnessed decades of history, hosting everything from grand soirees to intimate gatherings. Fast forward to today, and it's become a sought-after venue for weddings that want a touch of old-world sophistication.
As a wedding photographer, I couldn't have asked for a more picturesque setting. The sprawling grounds provided a myriad of backdrops for capturing the bride and groom in their most candid moments. From the charming courtyard with its vintage stone and creeping green ivy, to the lush gardens that seemed to dance with the sunlight, every corner of Connor's Center was a canvas waiting to be painted with the vibrant hues of love.
The ceremony itself was a heartwarming affair. Set in a secret garden behind the Connor’s Center, the couple exchanged vows, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The joy on their faces was palpable, and my camera was there to freeze those precious moments in time.
Cocktail hour was held on the property’s various patios, with the reception in the large, white tent just down the stairs from cocktail hour.
After the "I do's" were exchanged, we strolled through the manicured gardens and towards the front of the Connor’s Center for some more couples photos. Such a beautiful place for photos!
