A Boho Elopement by the Falmouth Shore

Today, I'm excited to share the story of an incredibly sweet couple who tied the knot in a dreamy Air B'n'B elopement right here in Falmouth, surrounded by their nearest and dearest and the faint smell of saltwater from the nearby waves.

Jamie and Dan have been on this wild ride called love for what feels like forever. They first connected on Myspace back in 2007 – a truly millennial love story! Fast forward to their wedding day - an intimate elopement with just their immediate family, and a handful of close friends gathered at a cozy Air B'n'B near the beach, where the boho vibes were as warm as the coastal breeze. The setting was intimate, with less than 20 people creating an atmosphere of love that was both personal and heartfelt.

The day kicked off with a first look at the Air B'n'B. The sun was still shining and the bride looked stunning in her boho-chic gown. After capturing those precious moments, we moved the party to a nearby lighthouse for some couple's photos. The sky became grey and the misty sea breeze added a touch of romance to each shot.

The ceremony was held under a flowering trellis in the backyard of the Airbnb. The couple opted for a Hand Tying Ceremony – a symbolic gesture of unity and connection — one that I think is so very sweet.

Following the heartfelt ceremony, the group gathered for family photos, preserving the love and laughter of the day, followed by a few couples photos inside the estate. Dinner was an intimate affair at one long, candle-lit table, where stories were shared, toasts were made, and the air was filled with the warmth of a family coming together to celebrate love.
