Maternity: Whitney + Chris at Ocean House Beach in Watch Hill, RI

So many things about this session changed at the last minute. Like a lot of expecting parents, things can all of a sudden take a complete 180 degrees. We had planned to do their announcement, maternity, and newborn session but shortly after the end of the first trimester W + C realized they needed to move back home to be closer to their families. NO BIGGY. We get this, and we hear about it all of the time. So we switched things up. We worked around their moving schedule and swapped locations from the Cliffwalk to the gorgeous Watch Hill are of the state - a part of Rhode Island I had never been to and am so deeply in love with now!

Snapping photos while the sun set hazily behind us on Ocean House Beach was without a doubt exactly where we needed to be. It felt like the perfect way to celebrate their pregnancy and say goodbye to the state that started it all for them. I am going to miss these two so much!
